      Hey,
Mhm it’s interesting, but i once also had a problem with a CDI. It would spark, but not start. Never figured out what it was, but thought either the timing is wrong (which shouldn’t be) or it was just broken. Try out the stock CDI again and see if it starts again, then get a unrestricted CDI by another brand I’d say…

      Hey Anmol!
Nice it is great that you have a guy who can make an exhaust for you, but in general making an exhaust is very difficult. If he is capable of building a complete exhaust it should be complete easy for him to modify an existing exhaust to fit your model (it usually just requires a few metal pieces for the mount and some pipes to fit the downpipe). There’s no need to do any special modifications, but it is advised to use fibre reeds as they perform a bit better (tho lasting less long) and install harder clutch springs (better take off). Given the racing air filter you might consider increasing the main jet size of your carburetor. CDI won’t be affected!

Hope that helps and good luck!

Thank you for accepting my subscription and I also have a question, let’s say I start off w/a stock 2-stroke 50cc and I upgrade to a 70cc piston, cylinder & head kit how would I determine the carburetor size at this point?

I commented on your other site.I will on this one.You talked about lean and rich indication on spark plugs.I have a Kymco Agility 50.the manual states between(0.06 mm.-0.07 mm) or 0.024 in.-0.028 in.I tried from minimum to max.I as put on a No-Rev CDI,Performance variator, clutch,no limited collar for variator .So what you think is best setting for plug.I am also looking for performance exhaust, and a few other things.Do you know of a great seller for this kymco.I love to work on these scooters. Thanks Daniel for you being a Valuable, informative.well manner person.Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks again,Mickey.

Thanks for your time and consideration. I am tuning an SMC Rexy 2stroke with the 12mm gudgeon pin and the Axis 90 stamped on the gears inside the engine case. Trying to find a new wiring harness for it online. Don’t want to get gouged for what it’s sold in shops here though. Any suggestions?
